CDM Report Presented; Recommendations Approved
byFaith reports that the Committee on Discipleship Ministries presented its report and that the Assembly approved all recommendations from the committee.
Highlights from the past year include the GROW virtual training platform (350+ participants from 75 churches), a sold-out LEAD retreat at Ridge Haven requiring a second event planned for Indianapolis in November 2026, and a CM certification program with students from across North America and Indonesia. The Teach Us to Worship (TUTW) curriculum is in its third year of a five-year sequence.
CDM and the AC are jointly producing the 'Equipping for Service' polity video series — a warm, pastoral approach to officer training that replaces dense BCO reading with accessible video mentorship by high-caliber denominational leaders, for local sessions to use directly.
