MNA Report Presented; Recommendations Approved
byFaith reports that Mission to North America presented its report and that the Assembly approved all recommendations from the committee.
The Permanent Committee has unanimously approved a new mutual support funding model to address these structural problems. Rather than requiring every staff member to fully self-fund, the model creates outcome-based ministry budgets negotiated with the Coordinator and draws from designated, ministry, and general funds in sequence, with quarterly true-ups. Two ministries are already piloting the model as of April 2026.
MNA's three Assembly-mandated strategic priorities remain: planting gospel-preaching congregations, mobilizing mercy and outreach ministries, and revitalizing existing churches in transitioning neighborhoods or under financial and leadership strain. The interim leadership is rebuilding around these core mandates.
